Living in Thailand
Thailand is an incredible place to live – rich in culture, full of warmth, friendly locals, and affordable. With some of the best beaches in the world paired with the hustling city life, there’s always something to do or a new place to explore. Also, having Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) nearby (one of Asia’s major travel hubs) weekend trips across Southeast Asia are easy.
MYIS is ideally located just north of Bangkok, offering the best of both worlds: close enough to enjoy the city’s excitement, yet tucked away in a quiet, family-friendly area. The school is right next to Nichada Thani, a well-known expatriate community that has everything you could need including international supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, and shops – all within a golf cart ride away! You’ll often see families and even students arriving at school in golf carts, adding to the relaxed neighborhood charm.
If you prefer to live closer to the city, teachers also have access to a daily school bus (for a small monthly fee) that runs between the Ari area and campus.
