The MYIS Goats swim team had an outstanding performance at the 1st Annual BISAL Swim Meet, finishing 5th overall out of 17 teams.
Leading the way, PupPupp delivered a dominant performance, winning four gold medals across all of her 25-meter events. Happy Lin also had an excellent meet, earning a gold medal in the 15-year-old 100m IM, two silver medals in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke, and a bronze medal in the 50m butterfly. Enfant collected three silver medals in the 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, and 100m IM, along with a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle. AunAun earned a silver medal in the 100m IM and a bronze medal in the 25m breaststroke. PongPang captured a gold medal in the 10–11-year-old 100m IM and added two bronze medals in the 25m breaststroke and 25m butterfly, while Yali earned a silver medal in the 25m breaststroke.
Rounding out the day, the 11-year-old relay team of PupPupp, PongPang, Enfant, and Lily earned a silver medal in the 100m relay, highlighting strong teamwork and race execution.
The team’s next competition will be the Merlion Swim Meet on March 21 at SISB Nonthaburi. Great job to all swimmers and coaches on a fantastic meet
