The MYIS Goats football teams had an amazing weekend at the BISAL North Football Championships, led by Head Coach K. Both the U13 and U15 teams represented MYIS with pride, teamwork, and relentless effort throughout the tournament.
U15 Team
The U15 Goats played outstanding football, finishing the day undefeated with three wins and one draw. The championship came down to a tiebreaker on total goals scored, with MYIS finishing in 2nd place overall, narrowly missing out on the first-place trophy by just one goal.
Despite the close finish, this result secures the Goats a spot in the upcoming BISAL SuperCup, where the top three teams from the North and South divisions will compete for the season title.
The U15 squad was led by Captain and center-back Chim, who delivered an incredible performance with nine goals and one assist. Samuel added five goals and four assists, Wynn scored twice and assisted twice, and both Josué and Putter contributed two assists each.
Goalkeeper Jayden was outstanding, making several key saves, including a penalty stop that lifted the team’s confidence and helped secure their strong finish.
U13 Team
The U13 Goats also had a great showing, finishing the tournament with a 2–2 record and earning 4th place overall. The team displayed excellent teamwork, communication, and determination throughout the day.
Emanuel (Grade 7) led the attack with two goals and one assist, followed by Natcha with one goal and two assists, and Thommy and Shota who each scored once.
Cheer Team
The MYIS Cheer Team made their debut performance at the tournament, bringing amazing energy and school spirit throughout the day. Their cheers and routines added excitement to every match and inspired the players to perform their best. The team is now preparing for their next appearance at the BISAL Basketball Championships in December.
Looking Ahead
Both football teams and the cheer squad demonstrated the true Goats spirit of dedication, teamwork, and pride. The program continues to grow each season as our athletes develop both skill and character.
The Goats now look forward to their upcoming friendly matches against the ISB Panther Club this Saturday in the U11, U13, and U15 divisions.
