The MYIS Goats had a fantastic showing at the recent U11 basketball tournament, with both the boys and girls teams finishing on the podium after a day of exciting competition.

The MYIS boys team battled hard throughout the tournament and finished with two wins and one loss during pool play. The team’s offense was led by strong play from point guard Win and small forward Rene, who consistently created scoring opportunities. Taehyeon controlled the boards with strong rebounding and defensive effort, helping the Goats secure a place in the playoffs. The boys continued their strong play and ultimately finished the tournament in third place.

The MYIS girls team had an outstanding run, going undefeated during pool play. The team was led by a dominant two-way performance from center Enfant, who was strong on both offense and defense, while point guard Natcha controlled the tempo of the game and created scoring chances for her teammates. The girls advanced to the final and finished in second place after a close and exciting game against ASIS.

Beyond the results, the MYIS Goats represented the school with great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. The MYIS cheer squad also joined the event, supporting the teams and creating an energetic atmosphere that lifted the players throughout the tournament.
