Work has been progressing on several different fronts of the new school campus – especially on the third floor of the main buildings. The steel form work for the third floor columns for the northeast wing and the east wing is near completion. Steel tie work for the elevator shaft at the northeast wing including the pouring of concrete is complete. Wooden support work and steel tie work was installed followed by concrete pouring for the two sets of staircases at the west wing connecting the second and third floor. To prepare for plank laying on top of the third floor beams in the large west wing, steel supports were installed to carry the heavy weight of the cement planks. Large cranes were then utilized to lift the planks in place. Following this, wire mesh was installed throughout the third floor of the west wing and a heavy duty concrete pump was brought in to complete the first layer of concrete topping.
