WELCOME FROM THE GOATS ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT

As Athletic Director at MYIS, I am excited to lead our growing MYIS Goats athletic program into its second season. Since our inaugural year, we have built a strong and inclusive sports program that continues to thrive. With offerings that now include swimming, football (soccer), basketball, badminton, and volleyball, we ensure that every committed athlete has the opportunity to participate in practices, games, and tournaments that match their abilities.

MYIS competes in the Bangkok International Schools Athletics Conference (BISAL), a network of 20 Bangkok-area international schools, where we are proud to be one of the founding members. BISAL creates a positive, inclusive environment for schools of all sizes, ensuring everyone has the chance to compete and succeed. As our program enters its second season, we aim not only to grow our athletic teams but also to create lasting memories and foster a deep sense of belonging for all our student-athletes.

Our department believes that participation in sports is essential for the holistic development of every student—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through physical activity, students experience personal growth, improve their social and emotional well-being, and enhance their academic performance. I am committed to creating an enriching environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.

This year, we look forward to expanding our offerings and providing even more opportunities for students to engage in sports, build strong community connections, and celebrate the joy of competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
