Welcome to the MYIS Athletic Department! As Athletic Director at MYIS, I am excited to lead the MYIS Goats into another outstanding season. Since our inaugural year, our program has grown into a strong, inclusive community with teams in swimming, football (soccer), basketball, badminton, and volleyball. Every athlete has the chance to train, compete, and develop their skills at a level that suits them.
We are proud founding members of the Bangkok International Schools Athletics Conference (BISAL), which brings together 20 international schools across Bangkok. BISAL fosters a positive environment where schools of all sizes can compete, connect, and succeed.
At MYIS, sports are more than just games—they’re a key part of student growth. Participation supports physical fitness, emotional well-being, social skills, and even academic success. Our goal is to ensure every student feels valued, supported, and inspired through athletics.
This year, we look forward to expanding opportunities for our student-athletes to grow, compete, and build lasting connections within our school and the wider community.

Associations
Bangkok International Schools Athletics League (BISAL) Founded in 2024 by MYIS, BISAL was created to give smaller international schools in Bangkok equal access to competitive, high-quality athletics. What started as a vision at MYIS has grown into a 20-school league offering football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, golf, and more. BISAL provides student-athletes not only with the chance to compete but also with opportunities to build confidence, character, and community—proving that small schools can do big things.
