Day 317: Steel Roof Structure Work Begins

The west wing of the new campus has made several advances as workers at the site began to lay steel form work underneath the roof slab to support the roof structure. Concrete was then poured for the roof slabs of the west wing. At the same time, the roof slabs for the lift shaft and northeast wing staircase were completed. Machines were brought in to carry out polishing for the surfaces of all roof slabs. The next phase of the roof structure has seen the preparation of columns for the angled steel roof structure. The first step of this process has been installing steel supports for the roof at the southeast wing.
