“Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.” ‒ Rita Mae Brown
The Role of Language
Our community consists of a culturally diverse group of families, each enriching us with their own culture, language, beliefs and traditions. At Magic Years we recognize language as instrumental to the success and holistic development of every child.
Language of Inclusion
English is the language of inclusion at Magic Years. We welcome children who speak little or no English at home. We believe that fluent English speakers benefit from this experience as well since they observe and help their friends learn English.
Embracing the Host Country
As Thailand is our host country, we embrace regular opportunities to include Thai language, culture and traditions in our everyday lives at Magic Years. Children ages 3 years and above have regularly scheduled Thai Class for 30 minutes every week in accordance with the Thai Ministry of Education curriculum expectations.
